Birds
It's really difficult for me to update this blog.......I'm not much of a writer more of a picture person...anyways- here is one of my newer designs from my Bird Series. This series came about almost a year ago. I feel the bird symbolizes freedom and there is a long story to go with that on. I was stuck in a rut for a good 2 years, just trying to pass time and waiting for something newer and better to come along. It was when I decided to finally live for today that this art all appeared and appeared big time, within a month I had enough art to hold an art show. I guess the moral of that story is to live for today and not put life on hold for tomorrow, unfortunately I have a difficult time even listening to myself. Enjoy:)

Art Classes
Pictures from my Free Summer Art Classes at the library. Last weeks project was Artist Trading Cards or ATC's for short. ATC's are little miniature works of art about 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. They can be done in watercolor, collage, coloring, pencil, etc. The kids had a fun time making the cards. When they were finished we laminated them to make them shiny and durable.
